Forthepast7yearsKimhasbeenveryinvolvedin environmentalactivismasajournalist,activistand volunteer.LivinginSanFranciscosheregularly participatedin,andcoveredthevariousprotests andmarchesheldintheCity. From EarthDaycelebrationsandclimatestrikes, toyearlywoman’smarches,Kimcoveredthemal, walkingalongsidefelowClimateRealityLeaders fromtheBayAreaandbeyond.In2017sheatended thefirstofmanyWoman’smarches,volunteredfor EarthDayandtheSciencemarchandreportedon theenvironmentalmovementandclimatemarches inNorthernCalifornia. In2019KimcoveredtheAmazonStrikeheldinSan FranciscoinprotestandprotectionoftheAmazon rainforestwhichatthetimewasbeingdevastated byfire,folowedshortlyafterwardsbytheYouth ClimateStrike,whentheworld’syouthdecided theyhadenoughanditwastimetostandupforthe planetandmakethemselvesheard.

AsanactivememberofClimateReality Project,long-timesupporterandvolunteer with350bayarea.org,anda2041Alumni, Kim’snetworkingreach andworldwide aƆliationwithalthingssustainablehas sincegrown into aglobalbusines in communitysustainabilityconsulting.
